Georgia Department of Natural Resources

Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission: Provides soil and water resource information, education, technical, support and assistance to locally led soil and water conservation districts, landowners and local governments.

Cobb County Soil & Water Conservation District: Operates on the local level to draw upon and manage state, federal, and private sector conservation resources.

Georgia Project WET: Water education for K-12 teachers, sponsored by the Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division, Watershed Protection Branch.

TIP Line (Turn in Poachers and Polluters): A non-profit Georgia conservation organization whose mission is to protect wildlife by increasing public support for wildlife law enforcement.

Rivers Alive: Georgia’s annual volunteer waterway cleanup event that targets all waterways in the State including streams, rivers, and lakes.

Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper: Independent environmental organization whose mission is to advocate and secure the protection of the Chattahoochee River, its tributaries, and watershed.

U.S. Green Building Council: Dedicated to sustainable building design and construction. Developers of the LEED building rating system.
