WHAT IS A WATER FEATURE?
The term “water feature” may be used to describe fountains, pools, ponds, koi ponds, water gardens cascades and waterfalls, both indoor and outdoor. These features are typically self-contained, with water recycled from a pond, reservoir or sump. Most water features are powered by electric pumps, but some are solar powered. Water feature designs may include stone, granite, stainless steel, resin, and glass, as well as aquatic plantings and/or decorative fish.
